A Texas jury delivered a stunning verdict, finding nine individuals identified as members of Antifa guilty on multiple terrorism-related charges. The case stemmed from a coordinated attack on the Prairieland ICE Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas, a brazen act of violence that unfolded last Fourth of July.
The defendants – Cameron Arnold, Zachary Evetts, Benjamin Song, Savanna Batten, Bradford Morris, Maricela Rueda, Elizabeth Soto, Ines Soto, and Daniel Rolando Sanchez-Estrada – descended upon the facility clad in black bloc attire and body armor, transforming a patriotic celebration into a scene of chaos and fear.
The assault wasn’t merely vandalism; it was a calculated attack. Explosives were detonated, federal vehicles were defaced, and gunfire erupted, directly targeting law enforcement officers protecting the detention center. The situation quickly escalated into a dangerous confrontation.
