VICIOUS ATTACK: Granny Fighting For Life After Savage Scissors Assault!

A quiet afternoon in Chatham, Kent, was shattered by a violent attack. A woman was reportedly stabbed, sending ripples of shock through the local community.

Police responded swiftly to the scene, launching an immediate investigation to locate the alleged attacker. Within hours, at 2:31 PM, a suspect was found and taken into custody.

Orlando Foster, a 25-year-old British national from Jeffery Street, Gillingham, now faces serious charges. He is accused of wounding with intent, causing actual bodily harm, and making threats while wielding a bladed weapon in public.

Detectives investigating a serious assault in Chatham have charged a man. Kent Police was called at 2.07pm on Saturday 14 March 2026 to reports of a woman being attacked with scissors outside a private property on The Chase. Officers attended alongside paramedics, who treated the woman in her 80s for injuries consistent with stab wounds. She was taken to a London hospital for further treatment. Her injuries are not believed to be life changing or threatening. A man was also reportedly assaulted by the suspect, who was unknown to the victims, before officers located and arrested him at 2.31pm. Charges Orlando Foster, 25, has been charged with wounding with intent, causing actual bodily harm and making threats with a bladed weapon in public. The British national, of Jeffery Street, Gillingham, was remanded in custody until his first appearance at Medway Magistrates? Court on Monday 16 March. In response to this incident, increased patrols will be present in the area. Enquiries are continuing into the circumstances, however it is believed to be an isolated incident.

Following his arrest, Foster was remanded in custody. He awaits his first court appearance, scheduled for Monday, March 16th, at Medway Magistrates’ Court, where he will answer to the allegations against him.

Law enforcement officials have indicated that they believe this was an isolated incident, offering a measure of reassurance to concerned residents. The investigation continues to determine the full circumstances surrounding the attack.
