Adva Lavie, 28, who also uses the name Mia Ventura, was arrested Tuesday night in Beverly Hills for allegedly removing her electronic ankle monitor while awaiting trial on felony burglary charges. Her release was revoked by a judge, and she was ordered held without bail ahead of a Friday bail review hearing in Van Nuys.
Court records indicate Lavie was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant from Riverside County related to a separate grand theft case. Prosecutors charged her in April with felony grand theft after accusing her of stealing over $11,000 in luxury items during the 2025 Coachella Music Festival.
In the Riverside case, Lavie is alleged to have taken an $8,600 Rolex watch, Louis Vuitton Aviator sunglasses ($700), and a Louis Vuitton cardholder ($1,800) from a man she met at Coachella. The man invited her to stay at an Airbnb in Indio, where she reportedly accessed the items after an argument. Surveillance footage from the property and video identification by investigators led to her arrest. She had missed a May arraignment, prompting a $20,000 warrant, though she remained at large until Tuesday.
Lavie’s latest arrest follows a dating app burglary spree investigated by Los Angeles County prosecutors. Authorities allege she used online platforms and “Sugar Daddy” websites to build relationships with wealthy individuals across Southern California, posing as a romantic partner or travel companion to gain access to their homes. The scheme targeted victims in Westlake Village, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and Beverly Hills.
Court documents state Lavie stole cash, gold, credit cards, and designer goods from multiple residences. She pleaded not guilty to six felony counts, including two grand theft charges, two first-degree residential burglaries, and two counts of unauthorized use of personal identifying information. She was released on electronic monitoring before her most recent arrest.
Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman emphasized the exploitation of trust in the case, stating, “We will prove beyond a reasonable doubt that this defendant exploited trust built through online relationships to gain access to victims’ homes and steal from them.”
Lavie’s fiancé, Stephen Cloobeck, a billionaire entrepreneur, was arrested on separate felony charges for allegedly trying to prevent witnesses from testifying against her. If convicted, Lavie could face up to 11 years and eight months in prison. Investigators previously shared images of luxury vehicles linked to her, including a white Mercedes-Benz coupe and a black Porsche SUV.
