Costco Canada has issued a recall for two snack items sold across its stores and online platform.
The Alba Croissant with cocoa cream filling is being recalled because of a potential mould contamination. The product, distributed by a Quebec‑based company, was sold in 24‑count boxes at Costco Business Centres and through the retailer’s website between June 2026 and July 2026. Consumers are advised not to consume, serve, sell or distribute the affected croissants.
For further information, individuals may contact the distributor via email at info@groupmiron.com or call the provided telephone line during business hours.
Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo Candy Bars are also subject to a voluntary recall by the manufacturer. The 12‑pack trays of 38‑gram bars, available only at Costco Business Centres and online, may contain undeclared pistachio, creating an allergy risk.
Undeclared pistachio can trigger serious allergic reactions in people with pistachio sensitivity, prompting the recall to protect vulnerable consumers.
The recall specifies the following lot codes and best‑before dates: OEC3854844, OEC3854845, OEC3854846 – all dated November 27 2026; and OEC3860215, OEC3860216 – dated January 5 2027. UPC numbers on the case are 0 61200 01444 0, while the wrappers display 0 61200 01445 7.
Customers are instructed not to consume, serve, sell or distribute the listed candy bars and may return any recalled product to any Costco warehouse for a full refund.
Costco emphasizes the importance of adhering to the recall instructions to ensure consumer safety.
