UMVA has learned that a shocking scandal has unfolded in a Las Vegas middle school, where a teacher has been caught on hidden camera admitting to pushing LGBTQ+ propaganda onto 11-year-old children.
Christopher Segal, an English teacher at Gunderson Middle School, made the disturbing admissions, revealing that he coaches minors on coming out as queer and breaks school policies by using students' preferred pronouns.
In a stunning display of disregard for school rules, Segal boasted about ignoring policies set by the Clark County School District, saying, "I break the law and still call kids what they want me to call them."
Segal's comments have sparked outrage, particularly his admission that he encourages students to come out as queer, saying, "I've had kids ask me, like, coach them on coming out [as Queer]." He also revealed that he responds with enthusiasm when students do come out, saying, "They [Kids] come out [as Queer], and I'm like, 'awesome.' They know I'm queer."
The teacher's behavior has raised serious concerns about his interactions with students, including his condemnation of black "MAGA" kids and his criticism of parents who do not support their queer children. Segal expressed disdain for students who identify with the "MAGA" movement, saying, "I had a group of, like, four boys who, at the bottom there, just did giant MAGA letters. And I was like, and two of them were black kids. Why are you MAGA kids?"
Segal's personal social media presence has also come under scrutiny, with a clip posted to TikTok revealing his use of the pronouns "they/them" and his insistence that students address him accordingly. In the video, he says, "My pronouns are they/them. Don't he/him me. I don't like that."
The incident has sparked a heated debate about the boundaries of teacher-student interactions and the promotion of LGBTQ+ issues in schools. Segal's actions have been widely criticized, with many questioning how he was able to engage in such behavior without being held accountable.
UMVA can exclusively reveal that the incident has raised serious concerns about the school's policies and procedures for addressing teacher misconduct. The case has sparked a wider conversation about the role of teachers in shaping young minds and the importance of maintaining professional boundaries.
