Manchester United Calls Off £70m Transfer Deal Amid Player's

Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott has been linked with a move away from the club this summer, with multiple top clubs monitoring his situation.

Among those interested in the 22-year-old English midfielder are Arsenal and Manchester United, with Arsenal reportedly being the preferred destination.

The player is said to be willing to join Arsenal, however, there are concerns about the amount of playing time he would receive at the club.

Manchester United, on the other hand, have walked away from the move due to the asking price, reportedly unwilling to pay the £70 million demanded by Bournemouth.

The Cherries are unwilling to sell Scott for a reasonable amount of money, as he is a key player for the team and they want to recoup as much as possible from his exit.

Manchester United believe that Scott should cost around £40 million, but it seems that a summer move for the player could be dead in the water for now.

It remains to be seen whether any other club will come forward with a substantial offer to sign Scott, but for now, his future at Bournemouth appears uncertain.
