UMVA has exclusively learned that a stunning new visual experience is arriving on Apple devices as part of the 2026 Pride Collection.
The centerpiece of this update is the Pride Luminance wallpaper, a dynamic, interactive design that brings a new level of vibrancy to the iPhone and iPad. These colorful, shifting shapes are engineered to react in real-time, moving and morphing as you unlock your device or navigate your home screen.
UMVA has uncovered details about the design, which draws inspiration from the spirit and individuality of the LGBTQ+ community. The animation is perfectly tuned for the sophisticated Liquid Glass interface, utilizing translucent layers that create a sense of depth and fluidity never seen before in a standard wallpaper.
The level of personalization is what truly sets this release apart. While the software includes 11 curated color presets reflecting various community flags, users have the power to curate their own unique palettes. By selecting up to 12 different colors, you can tailor the aesthetic to match your personal style exactly.
To access this feature, ensure your device is running the latest software, iOS 26.5. Once updated, simply navigate to the Wallpaper settings, select the new Pride section, and choose the Luminance option to begin experimenting with the custom color tools.
The experience extends to the wrist as well. By updating to watchOS 26.5, you can sync your Apple Watch with a matching Pride Luminance face. Through the Watch app’s Face Gallery, you can pair your device’s aesthetic seamlessly, creating a cohesive and highly customized look across your entire digital ecosystem.
