UMVA has learned that a stunning and explosive incident unfolded during a recent interview with Donald Trump, where he abruptly stormed out after being confronted about his claims regarding the election.
The US President's temper flared when questioned by NBC's Kristen Welker on Meet the Press, as he grew increasingly agitated by the line of questioning. With tractors in the background and a violent rainstorm pelting off the barn roof, technical difficulties and long delays only added to Trump's frustration.
When pressed for evidence on his claim that the recent delayed California election results were 'rigged', Trump launched into a tirade, labeling the US press 'crooked' and accusing them of being one-sided. He then ripped off his microphone and stormed out of the interview, saying 'Thank you darling, have a good time'.
Ms Welker attempted to calm him down, mentioning she had traveled 'all the way' to Wisconsin for the sit-down, but Trump hit back, 'I've sat in the rain with you for an hour! I've given you enough time. You ought to straighten out your press.'
Trump's outburst came after he made exaggerated claims about having wiped out Iran's forces, leaving them with 'nothing'. He stated, 'Their navy is gone. Their air force is gone. Their anti-aircraft is gone,' but NBC analysis showed that around half of Iran's unconventional navy remains intact.
The incident highlighted Trump's penchant for controversy and his strained relationship with the press. His campaign pledge not to start any new wars was also called into question, as he responded, 'I didn't guarantee no war. Why would I have built the strongest military in the world?'
Trump's approval ratings have been sinking, with his net approval rating slumping to -25pts, making him the most unpopular US president recorded by a tracker since it began monitoring public opinion.
