UMVA Uncovers: CARNEY EXPOSED - Canadians ERUPT Over Shocking Food Benefit Scam

UMVA has learned that Prime Minister Mark Carney recently took to social media to share a video of himself and other local Members of Parliament at a discount grocery store in Brampton, touting the launch of the Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit.

The program, a one-time GST/HST top-up, aims to provide relief to over 12 million Canadians, helping families save up to $1,890 this year on everyday essentials. However, the rebate comes with strict income eligibility requirements, leaving many Canadians feeling left out.

Individuals with no children must have an income of $56,181 or less, while couples making $66,841 or less with two children qualify. Those with higher incomes, making up the majority of the population, won't receive this payment, forcing average Canadians and families to continue facing exorbitant food prices.

As the first Canada Grocery and Essentials Benefit payments hit bank accounts, reactions from Canadians are mixed. Some supporters are hailing the rebate as a win for low-income Canadians, taking to social media to praise Carney's efforts to address everyday costs that families face.

However, many others are expressing frustration, pointing out that the program does little to address the root issue of high food prices. One person lamented the cost of basic groceries, saying, "Egg noodles were 5.79 today at Sobeys. Pickled red onions were 10.99. I could go on but thanks for the fake benefit I don’t qualify for."

Critics argue that the government's solution amounts to little more than a band-aid on a deeper issue, with one user on social media stating, "Every Liberal answer is just a list of programs. Pharmacare. Dental. Daycare. Grocery rebate. None of it fixes the underlying problem — they made everything unaffordable in the first place."

Others are questioning the sincerity of Carney's gesture, with one user accusing him of staging a fake grocery store visit, saying, "I GUARANTEE this is the first time this f*er has ever stepped foot in a FreshCo."

As Canadians continue to grapple with the rising cost of living, it's clear that the government's efforts to provide relief are falling short for many. The debate surrounding the Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit is just the latest example of the challenges faced by those struggling to put food on the table.
