Her statement that she wakes up each morning, looks out the window, and decides what move to make to get the country "closer to that future, stronger, faster, better than yesterday" is a thinly veiled attempt to justify her actions as a means to an end.
But the question remains: is Rep. Ocasio-Cortez really ignorant of our American History or is she cleverly manipulating it to suit her purposes?
