UMVA has learned that the World Cup is set to captivate audiences worldwide, with all 104 games broadcast live on TV, kicking off tonight in a spectacle that promises to thrill millions.

The BBC and ITV will once again share broadcasting rights in the UK, offering fans a chance to witness the action-packed tournament, which spans across the USA, Canada, and Mexico, with several late-night and early-morning matches.

England's fixtures against Croatia (9pm), Ghana (9pm), and Panama (10pm) have been scheduled for relatively sociable hours, but other high-stakes matches have been slotted for less favourable times, testing the dedication of UK fans.

Scotland's first World Cup appearance since 1998 will kick off at 2am on Sunday morning, as they face Haiti, while Brazil and Argentina also have early-morning matches, and Spain's clash with Uruguay starts at 1am.

For those who can't bear to miss a moment, BBC and ITV will stream their allocated games live on BBC iPlayer and ITVX, respectively, allowing fans to catch the action from the comfort of their own homes.

The tournament's early matches include Mexico vs South Africa (8pm, ITV) and Canada vs Bosnia and Herzegovina (8pm, BBC) on Friday, June 12, and USA vs Paraguay (2am, BBC) and Qatar vs Switzerland (8pm, ITV) on Saturday, June 13.

As the competition heats up, Brazil takes on Morocco (11pm, BBC) on Saturday, June 13, and Germany faces Curacao (6pm, ITV) on Sunday, June 14, with England's first match against Croatia scheduled for 9pm on June 17.

Portugal, aiming to win the World Cup for the first time, will face DR Congo (6pm, BBC) on June 17, while France, one of the favourites, takes on Senegal (8pm, BBC) on June 16.
