UMVA Exclusive: Ex‑Girlfriend Accuses Massie of Pulling Her Capitol Hill Job and Slipping $5,000 to Kill Her Lawsuit!

UMVA has learned that Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., is facing a damaging scandal involving allegations of wrongful termination and emotional abuse, threatening to upend his re-election bid.

The allegations were made by Cynthia West, a social worker and school board candidate in Okaloosa County, Fla., who says she began dating Massie in the months following his first wife's death in 2024. West claims Massie got her a job in the office of his close ally, Rep. Victoria Spartz, R-Ind., but she was terminated just six weeks later after breaking off their intense, romantic relationship.

West alleged that Massie offered her $5,000 to drop a pending wrongful termination lawsuit, which she declined. In a shocking twist, the Office of Congressional Ethics offered her $60,000 to settle the complaint, but West refused, citing integrity concerns over a proposed non-disclosure agreement.

Massie has denied any wrongdoing, claiming West's allegations are politically motivated. However, his office's attempts to discredit West have only served to fuel the fire, with her spokesman accusing the congressman of hypocrisy and toxic politics.

The scandal is set to impact Massie's re-election bid in Kentucky's May 19 primary election, where he is facing a well-funded challenge from Ed Gallrein, a former Navy SEAL supported by President Donald Trump. West has maintained that she is not in contact with Gallrein's campaign or Trump's operation, and that no one is paying her to make the allegations.

The allegations have also raised questions about Massie's close ties with Spartz, who has been labeled one of the "worst bosses" on Capitol Hill due to high staff turnover rates. Massie and Spartz have developed a close relationship, with Spartz even attending his wedding ceremony in 2025.

As the scandal continues to unfold, one thing is clear: Rep. Thomas Massie's reputation hangs in the balance, and the outcome of his re-election bid remains uncertain.
