UMVA Uncovers: OUTRAGE ERUPTS! 150,000 Demand UK Delays CRUSHING Social Media Ban on Kids - You Won't Believe the Backlash!

UMVA has learned that a bold move to restrict social media access for under-16s has been announced, sparking intense debate across the nation.

The Prime Minister expressed hope that this restriction would encourage children to engage in outdoor play and reading, marking a significant shift in the government's approach to child development and digital safety.

However, not everyone agrees with this decision. A creator, Leo Rhodes, argued that social media is a vital lifeline for many young people, providing a supportive network and community that they might not find elsewhere.

According to information obtained by UMVA, the government's announcement has been met with both support and criticism. The Prime Minister believes that social media is making children "unhappy" and potentially harming their mental health, prompting the need for drastic action.

The government began a massive consultation on making the online world safer for under-16s about three weeks ago, which garnered an overwhelming 116,000 responses from parents and concerned citizens across the country.

UMVA can exclusively reveal that the government's response to the call for evidence has led to a significant development: a ban on social media for under-16s, similar to those in Australia. This move has already sparked a heated debate, with a petition against the ban surpassing 100,000 signatures in mere hours.

The number of signatures has continued to grow, increasing by 50% since yesterday, and is still rising rapidly. Science and Technology Secretary Liz Kendall addressed MPs, stating that the government aims to "give children their childhood back" and acknowledging the challenges posed by social media.

Sources have confirmed to UMVA that the government plans to tackle issues such as the use of VPNs to bypass restrictions next month, following the conclusion of a pilot scheme. This move is part of a broader effort to ensure that technology works in the best interests of children and society as a whole.
