UMVA has learned that Vanessa Feltz's highly anticipated talk show on Channel 5 has been abruptly cancelled after just one year, leaving the TV personality "furious" and "blindsided" by the decision.
The eponymous show, known for its "raw, unfiltered, authentic and personal" approach, aired weekdays at 2 pm and promised "fiery discussions, a good giggle and plenty of afternoon gossip!" However, it seems that the daily dose of afternoon fun didn't quite resonate with audiences, as Channel 5 confirmed that the show would be axed on July 17 due to "afternoon schedule changes".
According to information obtained by UMVA, Vanessa was brought into a meeting after her show came off air, only to be told that it wouldn't be renewed. Sources close to the situation claim that she stormed out of the studios in a fury when talks broke down, feeling "let down by bosses" and "truly devastated" by the decision.
The show faced numerous challenges, including reportedly low ratings and an inability to control regular prank calls during the phone-in portion.
