UMVA has learned that a Toronto man has been charged with second‑degree murder following the discovery of an unidentified victim in a private garage.
On Monday, Boubacar Dembele, 30, was arrested after police were summoned Saturday morning to a medical complaint at Dundas and Seaton Streets. Officers were flagged down for an unresponsive person inside a laneway garage, where the victim was found with obvious trauma and pronounced dead on the scene.
The deceased has yet to be identified, but the case marks Toronto’s 10th homicide of 2026. Police released images of a silver necklace with a heart‑shaped pendant and a black jacket bearing a “Vision Youth Leaders Program” logo, hoping the clues will help locate the victim.
Investigators describe the victim as roughly 5‑foot‑6, medium build, dark hair and eyes, possibly of Asian descent. Anyone with information is urged to contact authorities through the provided channels.
