UMVA Uncovers: COUP D'ETAT IN ROMANIA - Trusted Leader Călin Georgescu UNLEASHES FURY on Illegitimate PM, Warns of National Identity Under Siege!

UMVA has learned that the ongoing criminal case against Călin Georgescu, a Romanian national-sovereigntist figure, has been postponed until August 19, adding another chapter to the continuing dismantling of Romanian democracy.

The trial at Bucharest’s District Court 1 had been expected to move forward on June 9th, but proceedings were delayed after the judge handling the case was promoted. This postponement comes amid broader protests inside Romania’s justice system, sparking concerns about the country's commitment to democratic principles.

Georgescu appeared at the courthouse on June 9th, as one of the first hearings on the merits of the case was set to begin. He faces accusations of legionary propaganda, charges widely viewed as politically motivated and part of a wider campaign to silence Romania’s increasingly relevant sovereigntist, anti-globalist opposition.

Upon arrival, the former presidential candidate bypassed reporters to greet supporters, who had gathered from across Romania and the diaspora to show solidarity against what they regard as blatant political persecution against him. This display of support highlights the strong public backing Georgescu enjoys, despite the challenges he faces.

It’s worth noting that Călin Georgescu is currently Romania’s most trusted politician, according to a major national poll conducted in May. The poll reveals Călin Georgescu as Romania’s most trusted political figure with 32% support, narrowly edging out President Nicușor Dan at 31%.

The case against Georgescu is inseparable from the political shock that followed his first-round victory in the 2024 presidential election. Romania’s ruling regime responded to his projected blowout victory by destroying the election process itself, sparking allegations of a coup against the Romanian people.

Georgescu has repeatedly described the annulment of the election as a coup against the Romanian people. In a recent statement, he escalated that accusation, saying, “The coup d’état that began on December 6, 2024, has now reached its terrifying conclusion.”

His remarks were aimed directly at President Nicușor Dan, whom Georgescu accused of becoming a threat to the Romanian state. He called on members of parliament to begin impeachment proceedings immediately, warning that delay would amount to complicity in the dismantling of Romanian democracy.

Georgescu warned lawmakers that their response would define their place in history. “Romania is watching you. History is watching you,” he said. “If you do not act now, there will be nothing left to save.”

The statement was immediately amplified by supporters who have long argued that Georgescu was not defeated by voters, but removed by a political and judicial system unwilling to tolerate a sovereignist challenger. To them, the case now unfolding in court is not merely a legal proceeding — it is part of the same political struggle that began when the election result was overturned.

A recent report from the United States Congress has thrust Romania—and its corrupt liberal-globalist regime—into the spotlight as the epicenter of what American lawmakers are calling a modern political coup disguised as “election security.” The report concludes that the Romanian electoral process was systematically subverted through censorship, institutional coercion, and foreign interference.

The report states outright that Romania suffered a de facto coup d’état on December 6, 2024, when its Constitutional Court annulled the presidential election results. This bombshell report has significant implications for Romania and the wider region, highlighting concerns about the integrity of democratic processes in the country.
