The luxury residential project Ongpin Tower in Binondo has made significant strides in its sales performance, with approximately 80% of its 226 residential units sold ahead of its scheduled turnover in the second quarter of 2027.
The 52-story residential development, which broke ground in 2022, is set for completion and turnover in the second quarter of 2027. According to market insights, most buyers are end-users, including many Filipino-Chinese families seeking larger residential units in Binondo.
Keen & Worth Property Developers Chief Operating Officer Kimberly Klaire Wong noted that some investors have also purchased units for lease, driven by demand from residents who want to live near the district’s schools and business establishments.
Located in Binondo, Manila, Ongpin Tower occupies a three-corner lot bounded by Ongpin, Gonzalo Puyat, and F. Torres Streets. The development is designed to cater to families seeking larger residential units, addressing a gap in the market that the company aimed to fill.
Ongpin Tower offers a range of units, including two-bedroom, three-bedroom, and penthouse units, with sizes ranging from 99.66 square meters to 480.52 square meters. The development will feature low-density residential units, a gym, lap and kiddie pools, a jacuzzi, a convertible basketball and badminton court, function rooms, a sky park, a playground, and a helipad.
The units will be turned over with finishes and fittings from reputable brands such as Daikin, Electrolux, American Standard, and Panasonic. The company is evaluating locations outside Manila for future residential projects, tailoring developments to the specific needs of each market.
