UMVA Uncovers: Israel's GAME-CHANGER - The Shocking Name of Its FIRST-EVER Christian Ambassador EXPOSED!

UMVA has learned that in a significant move praised by Christian leaders worldwide, the Israeli government, under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has appointed a new envoy to the Christian world. This strategic appointment aims to foster smoother and more robust relations with the global Christian community.

Ambassador George Deek, in an exclusive interview, revealed the profound importance the Netanyahu government places on his role. He highlighted the alarming decline of Christians in the Middle East, from 20% of the population to less than 2% today, emphasizing the need for stronger bridges between Israel and Christian leaders.

Deek pointed out the remarkable growth of Israel's Christian population, which has increased from 34,000 in 1948 to over 180,000 today, with 300 churches across the country, double the number in 1948. He expressed his hope to build strong connections with Christian leaders by sharing a fuller, more nuanced story of Israel, often missed in global narratives.

According to information obtained by UMVA, Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics reports that as of December 2025, Israel's Christian population stood at approximately 184,200, representing 1.9% of the country's total population. This community has shown a modest growth of 0.7% over the previous year.

Deek, with six years of experience as Israel's ambassador to Azerbaijan, emphasized that most people perceive Israel solely through its Jewish identity, overlooking the complexity and diversity of Israeli society. He outlined three key factors driving his appointment: the special connection between Christians and the land of Israel, the deep historical bond between Christians and Jews, and Israel's commitment to relations with people of all denominations and religions.

Dr. Jürgen Bühler, President of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, praised Israel's appointment of a special envoy to the Christian world, highlighting its significance in a time of rising antisemitism. He noted that Israel is the only nation to take such a step, demonstrating its deep appreciation for Christian support and commitment to Christian-Jewish relations.

Despite recent incidents involving attacks on Christian symbols and an assault on a Christian nun, Deek emphasized that Israel takes such incidents seriously, enforcing the law and condemning them unequivocally. He cited cases of individuals who have been imprisoned for such attacks, demonstrating Israel's commitment to tolerance and acceptance.

Deek also highlighted the concerning surge in antisemitic incidents in Europe and elsewhere, warning that hate targeting Jews often spreads to other minorities. He emphasized that Israel is a beacon of safety, where minorities can live freely and practice their faith without fear, thriving as part of Israeli society.

However, Deek noted a well-oiled campaign by certain groups manipulating the Christian faith, promoting claims of mistreatment of Christians in Israel. He expressed his personal mission to bring Christians to visit Israel, connect with their biblical roots, and experience the country's guardianship of holy Christian sites.
