Michelle Molver, 30, served as the employment lead at HMP Belmarsh, a fortress that houses some of the nation’s most dangerous offenders. While her official duty was to help inmates prepare for life after release, witnesses claim she exploited her position to indulge in illicit encounters.
Between August 1 and September 5, 2025, Molver is alleged to have engaged in a series of sexual trysts with convict Kemai Mathurine, a man notorious for violent crimes. The alleged meetings were said to have taken place behind closed doors, far from the watchful eyes of security.
She now faces a charge of misconduct in public office, a serious offense that could see her behind bars for life if convicted. The court has warned that the gravity of the allegations could lead to the harshest possible sentence.
