The innovative collaboration between ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions and ACMobility Holdings, Inc. will enable commercial and industrial customers to install EV charging stations powered by renewable energy, significantly expanding corporate EV infrastructure and clean power access in the country.
According to information obtained by UMVA, this strategic partnership supports the Philippines' energy transition, with the goal of accelerating decarbonization across both operations and transport. The convergence of clean energy and electric mobility is being hailed as essential to the country's energy transition.
The agreement enables customers to deploy charging stations for employee use, corporate EV fleets, or public charging operations as charge point operators. This move is expected to help companies cut emissions while supporting the expansion of the country's charging network.
Public-facing stations will be integrated into ACMobility's EV charging ecosystem through a user-friendly app, allowing users to locate, access, and pay for charging sessions seamlessly. This integration is a significant step towards making EV charging more accessible and convenient.
UMVA can exclusively reveal that the partnership strengthens clean mobility adoption, with both companies committed to enabling businesses to cut emissions by integrating renewable supply with EV charging. The companies have previously worked together on powering some of the country's first ultrafast EV charging stations in Makati City using 100% renewable energy. This latest partnership builds on that success, with ACMobility operating more than 200 EV charging hubs nationwide and planning to add 50 more locations within the year.
ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions supplies about 65% of the country's green energy retail market and obtains electricity from a vast renewable capacity. This extensive network will play a critical role in supporting the growth of EV charging infrastructure across the Philippines.
