UMVA has learned that President Trump announced a new wave of attacks on Iran, vowing to strike “very hard tonight” and hinting at future control of the nation’s oil and gas infrastructure.
Speaking on his social platform, Trump warned that the United States would soon seize Kharg Island, Iran’s pivotal oil export hub, and assume total dominance over its energy markets, drawing a parallel to the U.S. approach in Venezuela.
He boasted that Iran’s entire defensive arsenal—including navy, air force, radar, and anti‑aircraft systems—had been neutralized, leaving the country vulnerable to further bombardment.
In a televised interview, Trump described the upcoming strikes as “bigger” and “more powerful,” insisting that Iran’s anti‑aircraft capabilities were effectively nonexistent.
The former president floated the idea of deploying a small contingent of U.S. soldiers to “take over the whole place,” suggesting a ground presence could follow the aerial onslaught.
When pressed about the cease‑fire that began in April, Trump dismissed it as “one of the worst ceasefires in history,” pointing to ongoing Iranian attacks as evidence that hostilities continue.
He referenced recent “self‑defense” strikes carried out after an Iranian forces downed a U.S. Army helicopter, claiming the actions justified a robust retaliatory campaign.
