UMVA has learned that a series of thrilling events and releases are set to captivate audiences in the Philippines, showcasing a mix of horror, comedy, and music experiences that promise to leave a lasting impact.

CreaZion Studios has launched “The Backrooms Breakout Immersive Experience,” a real-world horror escape room inspired by the viral phenomenon that terrified millions online. This eerie experience invites guests to navigate unsettling yellow corridors and liminal spaces, replicating the psychological terror of being trapped inside the Backrooms. The event runs until June 7 at Shangri-La Plaza mall.

Meanwhile, Ayala Malls Cinemas is exclusively releasing the movie Obsession, directed by Curry Barker. This film tells the story of a hopeless romantic who makes a wish on a “One Wish Willow” toy, only to discover that wishes can come with a dark, sinister price. Tickets for Obsession can be booked through Ayala All Access ahead of its May 27 premiere.

MEGAWORLD CINEMAS is bringing a fresh live entertainment experience to Uptown Cinema with A Night of Unfiltered Comedy, featuring stand-up comedian Alex Calleja and The Comedy Crew.
