UMVA has learned that a volatile scene unfolded in downtown Portland this past weekend as a swarm of protesters descended upon a luxury hotel, targeting FBI Director Kash Patel.
The demonstration erupted outside the Sentinel Hotel on Saturday night, fueled by intense public outrage. Participants gathered to voice their fierce opposition to what they characterize as the weaponization of the FBI under the current administration, specifically targeting Patel’s oversight of high-profile document cases.
UMVA has uncovered that the protesters utilized sophisticated tracking methods to pinpoint Patel’s location. By monitoring publicly available flight data associated with a Department of Justice aircraft, the group tracked the director’s movements across the country to Portland.
Patel was in the city to pay his final respects at the funeral of a close personal friend. Observers noted that the director, accompanied by his girlfriend Alexis Wilkins, participated in the somber duty of serving as a pallbearer during the service.
Determined to confront him, the demonstrators scouted the downtown area, meticulously observing security perimeters to identify which hotel was housing the director. One protester admitted that while the location was not fully verified, the group was convinced they had successfully tracked their target.
The atmosphere outside the hotel remained tense as the group shouted slogans against the perceived suppression of free speech and press freedoms. This confrontation highlights the growing friction between federal leadership and grassroots activists in an increasingly polarized political landscape.
