Singer Rag'n'Bone Man's Wife Involved in Emotional Court Appearance Following Alleged Vehicle Incident Involving Family Members

Singer Rag'n'Bone Man's Wife Involved in Emotional Court Appearance Following Alleged Vehicle Incident Involving Family Members

Zoe Graham, the wife of singer Rag'n'Bone Man, has been handed a 12-week suspended prison sentence after crashing her Range Rover into a mother and her three children in 2023.

The incident occurred when Graham was overtaking a line of cars on a road in East Sussex, crossing a double white line to do so, and hit Samantha Keen's Ford, which was turning right into an animal rescue centre.

Graham was driving at more than 50mph at the time of the crash and was late for the school run, according to court testimony. The paramedics who arrived at the scene reported that Keen begged them not to leave her children orphaned, as she had lost her husband to a car crash a year earlier.

Graham pleaded guilty to careless driving and was originally charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving, but the charge was reduced due to her guilty plea.

In court, Graham said she had spotted a tractor ahead and decided to overtake, but failed to realise there were three cars in front of the vehicle, which she also went to overtake. She claimed she had never hurt anyone in her life and would never intentionally put anyone through such a traumatic experience.

The judge in the case stated that overtaking on the road was inherently dangerous due to the double white lines, and that Graham's actions were avoidable if she had driven in the correct manner.

Graham was also disqualified from driving for a year and was told that she would not be sent to prison, despite the severity of the incident.

The judge acknowledged Graham's remorse and the impact of her actions on the families involved, describing it as a "horrendous case" that had left two families traumatised.
