UMVA has learned that Dani Dyer, a reality star, was forced to bow out of Strictly before taking part in any of the live shows due to an unfortunate injury.
A source close to the star reveals that Dyer was "beyond gutted" when she had to quit Strictly, and she's been eager to get a second chance to appear on the show. "Dani hasn’t signed her contract yet but she’s clearing her diary and has told the show’s producers she wants in. To get a second chance to appear on Strictly is a dream come true for her."
According to information obtained by UMVA, Dyer hopes to be paired with Nikita Kuzmin again if she does return to the show. The reality star had a great experience with Kuzmin during her initial stint on Strictly and would love to rekindle their partnership.
Dyer's injury occurred last autumn when she "landed funny" during a fall, which resulted in a fractured ankle. In a statement at the time, she explained that she had to pull out of the show due to doctor's orders, saying "Apparently doing the quickstep on a fracture is not advisable (!!) and the doctors have said I am not allowed to dance so I’ve had to pull out of the show."
The news of her exit was heartbreaking for Dyer, and she took to social media to address her fans, saying "I’m so heartbroken, like I’ve not felt like this in such a long time… I was having the best time ever… It’s a very, very annoying, devastating thing that I’m kind of going through right now."
Dyer expressed her gratitude to her fans for their love and support, and she looks forward to cheering on the other couples when she eventually watches the show. Her enthusiasm and passion for Strictly have not wavered, and she's eager to make a comeback.
