Emilie Kiser Announces Pregnancy with Third Child One Year Following the Loss of Her Son Trigg

Emilie Kiser Announces Pregnancy with Third Child One Year Following the Loss of Her Son Trigg

Emilie Kiser, a 27-year-old influencer, is expecting her third child, a development she describes as "a bright light" in the face of one of the darkest years of her family's life.

The news comes just over a year after the devastating drowning death of her three-year-old son, Trigg, an incident that sparked intense public scrutiny and a lengthy investigation.

Kiser and her husband, Brady, are already parents to a 15-month-old son, Theodore, known as Teddy, and are now preparing to welcome another baby into their family.

"We are so grateful and excited to share that we will be welcoming another baby into our family," Kiser wrote on Instagram, alongside a series of family photographs.

"This news feels very surreal and has already been such a bright light to us during some of our darkest days," she added, stating that she intends to keep much of this pregnancy private.

Kiser noted that, after enduring the public scrutiny that followed Trigg's death, she prioritizes her family's privacy and will likely share limited details about this pregnancy.

"As I stated last year, my family's privacy will always be my priority," she wrote, adding that she appreciates her followers' understanding as she navigates the boundaries of sharing about her life.

The baby has already brought "so much hope and joy" into their home, Kiser said, as they prepare for "this next chapter" together.

The announcement comes after a tumultuous year, during which Kiser's family faced intense public scrutiny following Trigg's death in a drowning accident at their Arizona home in May 2025.

Trigg fell into the backyard swimming pool and died in hospital six days later, prompting a police investigation that recommended Brady face a felony child abuse charge.

Prosecutors declined to pursue criminal charges, but police records alleged that Brady lost sight of Trigg while caring for newborn Teddy, and surveillance footage showed the three-year-old had been unsupervised for longer than initially described.

Kiser won a court battle to prevent the most graphic details of the investigation from becoming public, with a judge ruling that the potential harm to the family outweighed any public interest in releasing the material.

Despite the unimaginable loss, Kiser has gradually begun speaking about her grief and the lessons she has learned along the way.

She has reflected on how losing a child has changed her life, stating that she has learned to live with the grief rather than heal from it.

"You don't heal from the loss, you learn to live with the grief," Kiser wrote, explaining that therapy has helped her find empathy, forgiveness, and the strength to stop worrying about public opinion.

In a recent interview, Kiser spoke candidly about the strain the accident has placed on her marriage, admitting she initially felt overwhelming anger towards Brady before realising the same tragedy could just as easily have happened had she been the parent at home that evening.

"This could have just as easily been me in Brady's position," she said, acknowledging that recognising how easily their roles could have been reversed helped her find compassion for her husband.

Now, as they prepare to welcome another child, Kiser says her focus remains firmly on protecting her family's privacy while embracing a future that, after so much heartbreak, once again holds hope.
