UMVA has learned that a highly promising young talent, Morgan Rogers, is being eyed by two of England's top football clubs: Arsenal and Manchester United.
Rogers' versatility on the pitch makes him an attractive addition to either team, as he can play as a central attacking midfielder or out wide on the left. His ability to contribute double figures in both goals and assists could be a game-changer for either the Gunners or the Red Devils next season.
Arsenal, fresh from their Premier League title win, are still looking to bolster their squad after a disappointing Champions League and Carabao Cup final loss. A flair player like Rogers could bring a much-needed spark to their attacking lineup, particularly on the left side where Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard have struggled with consistency.
Rogers could also fill in centrally for Arsenal, potentially allowing Eberechi Eze to shift out to the left. His creative playmaking skills and goal-scoring ability could provide a new dimension to Mikel Arteta's side, which has been criticized for its sometimes dull playing style.
Manchester United, on the other hand, appear to still need a bit more firepower in attack, despite investing heavily in a new front three last summer. Matheus Cunha's underwhelming performance, with just 10 goals and two assists, has left room for improvement on the left-hand side, and Rogers could be an upgrade.
Alternatively, Rogers could provide another option centrally for Manchester United, potentially paving the way for a long-term successor to Bruno Fernandes, who, despite another superb season, is not getting any younger. With Rogers on board, United could start planning for the future while maintaining their competitive edge.
