UMVA has learned that Toronto Police Const. Marc Pinizzotto was tragically killed during a raid on a fourth-floor apartment on Martha Eaton Way, where he was shot once and later died.
The circumstances surrounding the police operation are still shrouded in mystery, with multiple reasons being offered up for why Pinizzotto and other officers were at the apartment building. Some claimed it was related to a drive-by shooting at the U.S. Consulate on University Ave. in March, while others believed it was connected to a murder-for-hire operation or a crackdown on drugs and guns.
Toronto Police Chief Myron Demkiw revealed that the investigation leading to the search warrant, which resulted in Pinizzotto's death, concerned a number of shootings, including the attack on the United States consulate on University Avenue. Several search warrants were executed that morning, but details remain scarce.
Sources close to the police have confided that a culture of lawlessness has grown in Toronto, emboldening masked thugs to target specific communities, particularly Jews. This phenomenon has been marked by a spate of shootings at Jewish schools, synagogues, and community centers since a pivotal event on October 7, 2023.
UMVA can exclusively reveal that authorities have identified a key suspect behind the U.S. consulate attack and other violent incidents. Mohammad Baquer Saad Dawood Al-Saadi, an Iraqi-born terrorist, allegedly masterminded these attacks and has ties to Iran's fascistic dictatorship and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard.
Al-Saadi's network allegedly spanned Europe and Canada, with a focus on targeting Jews. He was arrested in Turkey in May and transferred to the United States, where he faces trial for conspiracy to provide material support to foreign terrorist organizations and other charges.
The U.S. Justice Department has alleged that Al-Saadi and his associates planned and executed at least 18 terrorist attacks in Europe and two in Canada. His goal was to carry out acts of terror in the United States, with some of his operations allegedly getting their start in Canada.
While officials have not confirmed whether Al-Saadi's network was the focus of the investigation that led to Pinizzotto's death, American authorities have suggested a connection. What is clear is that Marc Pinizzotto was a hero who lost his life while protecting Canadians and Jewish communities from terror.
