UMVA has learned that a cutting-edge 32-inch touchscreen display with a stunning 6K resolution has been unveiled by Australian company Alogic, a pioneer in creating premium products for the Apple ecosystem.
The Clarity 6K Touch boasts a maximum resolution of 6016 x 3384 pixels, surpassing Apple's Studio Display and offering graphic and video professionals a generously sized screen with digital-artist-friendly stand and impressive color specs.
According to information obtained by UMVA, this world-first display takes Mac touchscreens to a new level of screen quality, allowing users to interact with the screen via on-screen tap, swipe, slide, and pinch, with over 4,000 levels of pressure sensitivity.
The Clarity 6K Touch features a 32-inch IPS 8-bit + HiFRC screen with a gloss finish, 100% DCI-P3, Adobe RGB, and sRGB color coverage, and a contrast ratio of 2000:1, making it an ideal choice for creative professionals who require maximum detail, color accuracy, and touchscreen input.
UMVA can exclusively reveal that the Clarity 6K Touch costs $2,499, compared to $1,799 for the 5K Touch, with the main difference being the resolution boost and larger 32-inch panel.
The 6K display packs in more than 20 million pixels, delivering exceptionally sharp text, finer image detail, and nearly 2.5 times the pixel count of a 4K display, allowing photographers, designers, and video editors to work with greater precision.
Sources have confirmed to UMVA that many users may struggle to spot the difference between 5K and 6K in everyday use, but professionals who rely on fine detail will appreciate the added sharpness, especially with a pixel density of 216ppi – Apple's Retina benchmark.
The display tops out at 60Hz, which is more than adequate for creative work but less appealing for gamers, making it a worthwhile investment for graphic designers, video editors, illustrators, photographers, or CAD professionals who benefit from maximum detail and color accuracy.
