NYC SUBWAY HORROR: Elderly Veteran MURDERED – Migrant Suspect in Custody!

Richard Williams, an 83-year-old veteran and retired Air Force pilot, has died after a brutal attack on a New York City subway platform. He succumbed to his injuries on March 17th, days after being allegedly shoved onto the tracks at Lexington Avenue-63rd Street.

The alleged attacker, 34-year-old Bairon Posada-Hernandez, a Honduran national, now faces a murder charge. Authorities have revealed a disturbing pattern: Posada-Hernandez is a “serial criminal” with a lengthy history of run-ins with the law.

The horrifying incident unfolded when Williams and another man, John Pena, were allegedly pushed onto the tracks. Pena, demonstrating incredible bravery, managed to pull Williams back onto the platform just moments before an approaching train roared into the station.

Despite Pena’s quick actions, Williams suffered a devastating brain bleed and underwent emergency surgery. Tragically, doctors determined he had no brain activity following the procedure, leading to the heartbreaking conclusion that his injuries were fatal.

Williams’ death has been officially ruled a homicide, leaving his family reeling from grief and demanding justice. His daughter, Debbie Williams, expressed a raw and visceral desire for the perpetrator to endure a lifetime of suffering, believing prison to be a fitting punishment.

The loss is particularly poignant given Williams’ recent victory over prostate cancer, a five-year battle he had finally won just six months prior. He had looked forward to a peaceful life, a future stolen by this senseless act of violence.

Federal authorities have revealed Posada-Hernandez was previously deported from the United States four times, beginning in 2008 and most recently in 2020. His criminal record includes a staggering 15 prior charges, ranging from simple assault and domestic violence to weapon possession and aggravated assault.

The Department of Homeland Security is now urging New York officials not to release Posada-Hernandez back into the community, highlighting the potential danger he poses. This request comes amidst New York’s sanctuary policies, which limit cooperation between local and federal immigration authorities.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement has already filed a detainer for Posada-Hernandez, seeking to take him into federal custody. The case has ignited a fierce debate about border security and the consequences of repeated deportations.

The details emerging paint a picture of a system seemingly unable to prevent a known offender from repeatedly re-entering the country and ultimately committing a horrific crime. The tragedy serves as a stark reminder of the human cost of complex immigration policies and the devastating impact of violent crime.
