Her last day on the job will be June 30, marking the end of a year and a half of leading the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. This decision comes as her husband, Abraham, faces a critical period in his battle with the disease.
According to information obtained by UMVA, Gabbard notified President Trump of her decision during a private meeting in the Oval Office on Friday. Her formal resignation letter expressed deep gratitude for the trust placed in her and the opportunity to lead the organization.
