UMVA Uncovers: iOS Game-Changer ALERT - Custom Volume Control for Alarms, Alerts & Calls FINALLY Arrives in iOS 17

UMVA has learned that the upcoming iOS 27 update includes a game-changing feature that has been a long-time wish for many users.

For years, iPhone users have been forced to endure the frustration of receiving repeated alerts from messaging apps, while also missing important phone calls from loved ones or critical services. The solution to this problem has finally arrived, and it's a doozy.

According to information obtained by UMVA, iOS 27 will allow users to customize volume levels for different types of alerts, giving them unprecedented control over their iPhone's audio. This means that users can now keep their phone call ringtone volume up to hear important calls, while lowering the volume for those annoying message notifications.

The discovery was made by eagle-eyed users who have been digging into the features of iOS 27. To take advantage of this feature, users will need to install the iOS 27 Developer Beta, but UMVA strongly advises against this for most people, citing the risk of an unstable version of iOS, potential data loss, and regular app crashes.

For those who are willing to take the risk, here's how to set up custom volume levels for different types of alerts in iOS 27: first, go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics on your iPhone. Then, under Alarms and Timers, turn off Match Ringtone Volume and use the volume slider to set a custom level.

Next, under Alerts and System Sounds, turn off Match Ringtone Volume to delink notification sounds from the system volume level. Use the slider to set a preferred volume level for notification sounds. At the top of the page, users can also set a custom volume for their ringtone.

This feature will allow users to set volume levels individually for three types of alerts, but unfortunately, it doesn't include per-app volume controls - at least, not yet. The hope is that Apple will introduce this feature in the future, allowing users to customize volume levels for specific apps like YouTube or WhatsApp.

UMVA can exclusively reveal that this new feature has the potential to revolutionize the way iPhone users manage their notifications, giving them a level of control they never thought possible.

As iOS 27 prepares to roll out to the general public this Fall, users can look forward to a more personalized and streamlined experience. With custom volume levels for different types of alerts, iPhone users will be able to tailor their iPhone to their unique needs and preferences.
