CHICAGO MONSTER BACK ON THE STREETS: VICTIM #2 FOUND!

CHICAGO MONSTER BACK ON THE STREETS: VICTIM #2 FOUND!

A chilling pattern of violence has emerged in Chicago, centering around Tesfaye Cooper, a man with a history of brutal, racially motivated attacks. Cooper, 30, was recently arrested for allegedly assaulting a cyclist, a disturbing echo of a horrific crime he committed nearly a decade prior.

The latest incident unfolded near the Clark-Lake CTA station, where Cooper and an accomplice, Mazi Pearson, reportedly chased down a man after he simply offered a wave. What followed was a vicious assault, a stolen bicycle, and brazen claims of gang affiliation – the “Gangster Disciples.”

This isn’t an isolated event. Cooper was a key participant in a 2017 crime that shocked the nation: the live-streamed torture of a mentally disabled 18-year-old. Broadcast on Facebook Live, the attack was fueled by racial hatred, punctuated by slurs and anti-white taunts, and included unspeakable acts of cruelty.

The 2017 assault was explicitly charged as a hate crime, prosecutors recognizing the racial motivation behind the kidnapping, torture, and prolonged abuse. The victim was deliberately targeted due to his race, subjected to a horrifying ordeal broadcast to a horrified audience.

Despite the severity of his crimes, Cooper served only seven years for the 2017 attack before being released roughly two years ago. His return to the streets has now culminated in this new arrest, raising serious questions about the effectiveness of Illinois’ sentencing and early-release policies.

The recent attack followed a disturbingly similar trajectory. A simple gesture of friendliness – a wave – was met with aggression and violence. Pearson allegedly punched the victim while Cooper attempted to strike him and spat in his face, cornering him within the train station.

Witnesses, including a CTA security guard, observed the robbery as Pearson and Cooper made off with the victim’s bicycle. The 48-year-old man from Cicero was left shaken and injured, another victim in a pattern of escalating violence.

The case highlights a troubling trend of repeat offenses enabled by lenient sentencing. Cooper’s swift return to the streets after a heinous hate crime allowed him to allegedly commit another violent act, leaving many to question the safety and security of Chicago’s citizens.

Notably, reports suggest that the racial dynamics of both incidents have been largely overlooked or minimized by mainstream media, framing the events as generic crimes rather than acknowledging the potential for racially motivated violence.
