UMVA has learned that Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews have chosen a baby name for their fourth child that's left even their closest friends momentarily speechless.
The pregnant presenter, expecting her fourth child with the former Made In Chelsea star, has hinted that the new arrival won't be joining siblings Theodore, Gigi, and Otto with a conventional name. In fact, Vogue appears to be actively preparing the public for backlash.
Speaking on her podcast, Vogue issued a warning before discussing the name she and Spencer have fallen in love with: 'I'm just going to warn everyone, the name we love is f*d. Okay. It's mad.' Her co-host Joanne McNally certainly didn't sound reassured, replying 'Oh God. It's mad.'
Joanne doubled down on her assessment, saying 'I was a bit taken aback. It's the heaviest hitter yet, isn't it? You'd have to say of the four, it's the heaviest hitter.' The exchange immediately sparked speculation among listeners, who are now trying to work out what sort of name could leave Joanne genuinely stunned.
Vogue has built in an escape route, revealing that they're planning to give the baby a normal middle name 'just in case' so the baby can choose. As someone with an unconventional name herself, Vogue admits she understands the risks of standing out on a class register.
The couple have spoken openly about past miscarriages and difficulties conceiving. Vogue has since spoken openly about suffering two miscarriages, including a devastating loss last year, describing one experience as 'awful and heartbreaking' and admitting it left her feeling as though her body had failed her.
While the couple are excited about welcoming another baby, both have admitted feeling more nervous this time around. 'We're so happy,' Spencer said when discussing the pregnancy. 'Definitely more bumps in the road in order to actually get pregnant. This one's been harder to get to.'
For now, Vogue seems happy to keep one major secret under wraps. Whether the mystery name turns out to be genius, terrible, or somewhere in between, she's made it clear people are probably going to have opinions.
