Julio Cesar Morales Jarquin, a Nicaraguan national who entered the United States in 2023 through a controversial parole pipeline, now faces two counts of second-degree sexual assault of an elderly victim. The alleged crimes took place at an assisted living facility in Dane County, Wisconsin, where he was employed as a caregiver.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement has lodged a detainer against Morales Jarquin, demanding that local officials keep him behind bars. “This dirtbag was released into the country by the Biden Administration,” fumed Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman Lauren Bis. “We need Wisconsin sanctuary politicians to cooperate with us to remove criminals from our country.”
But Dane County is a sanctuary jurisdiction run by Democrats. Its policies require ICE agents to present signed judicial warrants before they can take custody of illegal aliens held in local jails—even though federal law doesn’t demand such warrants for detainers.
Morales Jarquin is just one of more than 10 million illegal aliens who entered under the Biden regime, many of whom carried extensive criminal records from their home countries. Now, vulnerable elderly residents in a Wisconsin care facility have become the victims of a system that critics say prioritizes politics over public safety.
