JD Vance Concludes Tyler Robinson Killed Charlie Kirk, Asks Who Radicalized the Assassin

US Vice President JD Vance has stated that there is clear evidence that Tyler Robinson assassinated conservative leader Charlie Kirk, but he continues to question whether others helped radicalize the suspect into carrying out the murder.

In a recent interview, Vance emphasized that Robinson's actions were likely influenced by a broader network of left-wing radicals who have encouraged violence. He expressed concerns about the possibility of other individuals being involved in radicalizing Robinson.

The interview comes after prosecutors wrapped up a preliminary hearing in Utah, where Robinson, 23, is accused of assassinating Kirk on September 10 at Utah Valley University. Robinson has been charged with first-degree murder in the sniper-style shooting.

Vance addressed claims that his instincts told him there was a larger plot behind Kirk's murder, and that he had explored various online theories and videos in the days following Kirk's death. He emphasized that the aspect of Kirk's death that will always haunt him is the possibility that other individuals were involved in radicalizing Robinson.

Vance stated that while he believes Robinson is part of a broader network of left-wing radicals, he does not have evidence that they directly communicated with Robinson before the shooting. He expressed concerns about the role of others in radicalizing Robinson, saying it's unlikely that a young man could become radicalized without encouragement from others.

The vice president concluded that many people have "blood on their hands" in Kirk's murder, but Robinson is the person most directly responsible. He stated that Kirk's death was a result of a message preached by left-wing radicals that it's okay to kill people you disagree with.

During the hearing, prosecutors presented surveillance footage showing Robinson on the UVU campus multiple times on the day of the assassination. The footage reportedly captured him arriving early, returning later, and lying prone on the roof with a clear line of sight to where Kirk was seated.
