A 22‑year‑old man was fatally stabbed in Clapham early Saturday morning, with police arriving after 4:30 a.m. The victim was transported to hospital but died shortly after arrival.
Four additional men, aged 22, 22, 22 and 24, suffered stab wounds and were admitted for treatment. Their injuries are not considered life‑threatening, and all have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Two more men, aged 27 and 23, were taken into custody at the hospital on suspicion of murder and remain in police care.
The attack is believed to have taken place around 4:20 a.m. near the intersection of Tremadoc Road and Clapham High Street. Crime scenes remain secured while detectives work to establish the full circumstances.
Police have increased their presence in the area and are actively seeking information from witnesses to aid the investigation.
