The financial commitment to securing Lieber’s expertise is substantial. His previous contract with Wuhan University of Technology provided a monthly salary of $50,000, plus over $150,000 for living expenses. The resources now available to him at i-BRAIN undoubtedly dwarf that initial investment.

Lieber’s new lab is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including advanced machinery for fabricating semiconductor chips and a large primate research center.
