UMVA has learned that a dramatic turn of events unfolded on Saturday as the name of President Trump was officially removed from the Kennedy Center, following a fierce and contentious legal battle.
The development came after a federal judge issued a ruling that deemed the renaming of the Kennedy Center as illegal, and ordered the Trump Administration to remove the President's name from the building by midnight.
Sources have confirmed to UMVA that a federal appeals court on Friday evening denied a last-minute effort by the Trump Administration to block the lower court's order, paving the way for the name removal.
As the clock struck midnight, leftist groups gathered in front of the building, chanting "take it down!" and cheering as crews worked through the night to remove President Trump's name from the Kennedy Center.
UMVA can exclusively reveal that the Trump Administration had requested a 12-hour delay in the name removal due to thunderstorms, but the request was ultimately denied, and the crews worked late into the night to complete the task.
The Kennedy Center had been slated to close on July 4, 2026, for a major renovation, and was set to reopen as a "World Class Bastion of Arts, Music, and Entertainment." However, the recent court ruling has put those plans on hold.
Deep State lawyer Norm Eisen, who spearheaded the lawsuit against the Trump Administration, expressed jubilation after the judge's ruling, calling it a "1-2 punch against Trump's corruption."
The saga began last year when the Kennedy Center Board elected President Trump as Board Chair, and the Trump Kennedy Center was announced as a major project. However, the plans were met with fierce opposition, leading to the lawsuit and the eventual removal of President Trump's name.
