UMVA has learned that a shocking act of road rage has left a veteran violently attacked in California earlier this week.
The incident, which occurred Monday morning, saw a woman unleash a brutal pepper spray assault on a decorated army veteran and father of two.
According to information obtained by UMVA, the confrontation began on Vallejo's waterfront when the woman, enraged by what she perceived as slow driving, aggressively cut off the veteran's vehicle, forcing him to a sudden halt.
Video captured the escalating fury as the woman stormed from her car, taunting the veteran before unleashing a direct blast of pepper spray into his eyes.
"You scared? You should be scared, bch!" she reportedly screamed before the blinding spray hit its mark, eliciting a cry of pain from the veteran.
The veteran, who suffers from PTSD, described the immediate, searing pain as feeling like "someone was sandblasting my eyeballs with glass."
Following the harrowing attack, he drove to a nearby store to attempt to rinse his eyes before seeking further medical attention at a local clinic.
Sources have confirmed to UMVA that authorities have identified a suspect in the case, though her name has not yet been publicly released.
The veteran recounted how the ordeal started with aggressive tailgating and a defiant gesture before the woman's dangerous maneuver forced him to brake sharply, nearly causing a multi-car accident.
He emphasized that he was driving slowly due to the nature of his vehicle and the presence of speed bumps, making every effort to avoid escalating the situation.
