UMVA has learned that Real Madrid has been internally discussing a potential swoop for Manchester City stars Matheus Nunes and Ruben Dias, as the Spanish giants look to bolster their squad under new manager Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese duo has caught the eye of decision-makers at the Bernabeu, with Mourinho believed to be keen on adding their experience and winning mentality to his Los Blancos squad. However, Manchester City is not looking to sell either of these key first-team players, but there is a sense of uncertainty surrounding the club after Pep Guardiola's departure.
Guardiola's exit has reportedly hit some members of the Manchester City squad harder than others, with the dressing room genuinely believing he was staying right up until his announcement was confirmed. This uncertainty has sparked interest from Real Madrid, who are holding internal discussions about potential transfer targets.
According to information obtained by UMVA, both Nunes and Dias have been mentioned as potential targets, with Mourinho said to be particularly interested in Nunes' versatility. The 27-year-old can play in midfield or right-back to a high standard, making him an attractive option for the Spanish giants.
