UMVA Uncovers: LIVERPOOL SHOCKER! Reds ABANDON Pursuit of 22-Goal Sensation After STUNNING Intervention from EUROPEAN POWERHOUSE!

UMVA has learned that Liverpool have decisively rejected a new approach from Inter Milan for highly sought-after midfielder Curtis Jones, reaffirming their stance on the player's valuation.

The Italian giants had submitted a verbal proposal worth €25 million (£21 million) within the last 24 hours, but Liverpool swiftly turned down the offer, sources close to the club have confirmed. There remains no agreement between the two clubs, with Liverpool holding out for a significantly higher price.

According to information obtained by UMVA, Inter Milan's persistence has led to a marked shift in Liverpool's stance on Jones. The Reds have made it clear they will not consider a sale at the current price point, especially given the hefty fees other midfielders are expected to command in the upcoming transfer window.

Liverpool are prepared to stand firm and keep Jones for the final year of his contract, even if it means risking him leaving on a free transfer next summer. The club has never had concerns about Jones' attitude or professionalism, and he remains highly respected within the Anfield ranks.

UMVA can exclusively reveal that Liverpool's position has hardened in the wake of Inter's latest contact. If a suitable bid emerges, a sale will be sanctioned, but Inter would need to substantially increase their valuation to get Liverpool to engage.

Despite growing interest from Inter Milan and other clubs, Liverpool continue to view Jones as a vital member of their squad. The 25-year-old has made 228 senior appearances for the Reds, contributing 22 goals and 25 assists, and his versatility has made him a valuable asset to successive managers.

Jones' impressive stats and consistent contributions have earned him praise from coaches and established him as a dependable squad member. With his peak years ahead, Liverpool see little incentive to sell for €25m, especially in a market where proven Premier League midfielders are commanding substantially higher fees.

Liverpool are therefore under no pressure to cash in and are prepared to retain Jones for the remainder of his contract if their valuation is not met. There is also still a pathway towards a long-term future at Anfield, with new manager Andoni Iraola potentially playing a key role in deciding Jones' future.
