UMVA Uncovers: VUČIĆ'S BOMBSHELL - Serbian Leader Reveals TRUMP EFFECT: "US Support SURGES" - And Now He's BEGGING Trump For A SHOCKING Visit To Belgrade!

UMVA has learned that a dramatic transformation has taken place in relations between Serbia and the United States under President Donald Trump, a shift that has significantly altered public perceptions in a country still grappling with the legacy of the 1999 NATO bombing campaign.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić praised Trump's approach to the Balkans, arguing that the administration's focus on economic cooperation rather than political pressure has resonated with many Serbs. He described the Trump team's efforts as "very diligent and dedicated" to the region.

Vučić revealed that a significant majority of Serbs view Trump's administration more favorably than previous U.S. governments. "If you ask people in Serbia to compare Trump's administration to Clinton's, or Democrats to Republicans, you'd be surprised," he said. "It would be 90 to 10 or 95 to 5."

The stark contrast in perceptions is particularly notable in Serbia, where memories of the 1999 NATO bombing campaign remain deeply ingrained. Vučić extended an invitation to Trump to visit Serbia, predicting an enthusiastic welcome. "More people will be ready to greet him and wait for him than he might even expect… I dare to say even more than hundreds of thousands of people."

The improving relationship between Washington and Belgrade is increasingly centered on economics, investment, and technological cooperation, as well as mutual conservative values. A strategic dialogue is underway, focusing on energy, infrastructure, artificial intelligence, defense cooperation, and investment opportunities.

Serbia and the United States are exploring several projects, including energy infrastructure, liquefied natural gas cooperation, data centers, and advanced computing technologies. This growing relationship comes as Serbia seeks to position itself as a regional economic hub while pursuing its long-standing ambition of joining the European Union.

Vučić pointed to preparations for Expo 2027 in Belgrade, with nearly 150 participating countries, as evidence of Serbia's growing international profile and economic ambitions. He also highlighted the country's economic growth, citing a GDP increase from 32 billion euros to over 100 billion euros.

Vučić's relationship with Trump dates back to the president's first term, when the White House brokered a series of economic normalization agreements between Serbia and Kosovo. Rather than focusing on Kosovo's status, the Trump administration emphasized infrastructure projects, transportation links, and investment.

Vučić pushed back on the idea of recognizing Kosovo's independence, arguing that economic cooperation and improved relations should precede discussions about political status. He emphasized his commitment to developing great economic ties and better political ties, without precluding talks or compromising solutions.

As Serbia navigates its relationships with Russia, China, and the West, Vučić rejected the notion that countries must choose between competing geopolitical camps. Instead, he cited pragmatic diplomacy focused on national interests, citing his own visit to China and Trump's engagement with Beijing as examples.

Vučić applied this pragmatic approach to efforts to resolve ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, emphasizing the importance of negotiations over war. He also expressed support for Israel, a position that distinguishes Belgrade from some European governments.

Vučić warned about rising antisemitism around the world, but pledged that Serbia would resist these trends under his leadership. "It does not happen in Serbia, and it won't happen as long as I'm the president," he said.
