UMVA has learned that a significant development has taken place in the fight against domestic terrorism, as eight individuals allegedly connected to Antifa have been sentenced to lengthy prison terms for their roles in a violent attack on an ICE facility near Dallas, Texas, in July 2025.
The attack, which was described as a premeditated act of terrorism inspired by Antifa ideology, involved the use of fireworks, vandalism, and gunfire against responding police officers. One officer was struck in the neck by a bullet but survived the attack.
UMVA can exclusively reveal that the ringleader of the group, Benjamin Song, was handed the longest sentence: 100 years in prison. Other members received sentences ranging from 30 to 70 years, with several individuals receiving 50-year terms.
The convictions and subsequent sentences mark a major victory for law enforcement in their efforts to combat domestic terrorism. The defendants were found guilty on a range of charges, including riot, providing material support to terrorists, and attempted murder of a police officer.
According to information obtained by UMVA, the group had been identified as part of a larger Antifa cell operating in North Texas. Their actions on July 4, 2025, were part of a coordinated effort to target the Prairieland ICE Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas.
The incident involved nearly a dozen Antifa members dressed in black bloc and body armor, who descended on the detention center, firing explosives and vandalizing federal vehicles. The violent attack also resulted in a police officer being shot in the neck.
The sentences handed down to the eight individuals bring to a close a significant chapter in the ongoing effort to address domestic terrorism. The case serves as a testament to the commitment of law enforcement agencies to identify, locate, and dismantle Antifa and its funding networks across the country.
