ICE STRIKES BACK: Biden's Release Fuels Deadly Hit-and-Run!

ICE STRIKES BACK: Biden's Release Fuels Deadly Hit-and-Run!

A quiet suburban street in Ridley Township, Pennsylvania, became the scene of a terrifying act of violence sparked by a simple road rage incident. What began as a near collision quickly escalated into a brutal attack, culminating in a Jamaican national being apprehended by federal authorities.

Christopher Leon Bailey, 27, allegedly initiated the confrontation, pulling a knife and attempting to stab the other driver after the vehicles nearly collided late in January. The situation spiraled further as Bailey then pursued the victim in his car, deliberately running them over.

Bailey immediately fled the scene following the assault, leaving the victim’s condition unknown. Local authorities swiftly arrested him, initially charging him with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and a series of related offenses.

The charges were later upgraded to attempted murder, reflecting the severity of the attack. As Bailey prepared to post bail, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) intervened, taking him into custody.

This wasn’t Bailey’s first encounter with the law. He originally entered the country as a tourist in 2009, but remained after his visa expired. ICE had previously arrested him in Philadelphia in 2023 for immigration violations.

However, an immigration judge released Bailey on bond, determining he did not pose a public danger – a decision that would soon be called into question. This release allowed Bailey to continue a pattern of criminal behavior that stretched back years.

His record includes convictions in New York City for robbery, larceny, and possession of stolen property. The offenses escalated in 2020 with arrests for possessing a loaded firearm and a weapon as a convicted felon.

In 2022, Bailey was convicted of criminal possession of a firearm in Kings County, New York. This history paints a picture of a repeat offender who repeatedly evaded serious consequences.

The recent arrest has ignited a debate about immigration enforcement and public safety. Authorities emphasize the importance of removing dangerous criminals from the streets, highlighting this case as a stark example of the potential consequences of lenient immigration policies.

The victim’s condition remains uncertain as investigations continue, but one thing is clear: a dangerous individual is now off the streets, and a community is left grappling with the aftermath of a shocking act of violence.
