UMVA Uncovers: ARSENAL POUNDING FOR SHOCKING TRANSFER BOMBSHELL - Sheringham's Insider Tip Reveals Arteta's TOP Target Exposed!

UMVA has learned that a potential transfer move could revive the fortunes of a struggling Real Madrid star, with Mikel Arteta being tipped to bring out the best in the player.

The player in question, Trent Alexander-Arnold, made a high-profile transfer from Liverpool to Real Madrid last summer, but his first season in Spain was a difficult one, marked by the sacking of Xabi Alonso, dressing room turmoil, and injury problems that limited him to just 14 La Liga starts.

Across all competitions, Alexander-Arnold completed 90 minutes on just 10 occasions and registered five assists, a far cry from the spectacular numbers he achieved at Liverpool, as Real failed to win major silverware for the second season running.

Former England striker Teddy Sheringham believes that Arteta could be the coach to help Alexander-Arnold regain his form, suggesting that a move to Arsenal could be the answer, despite the player's reputation as one of the world's best right-backs.

Sheringham thinks that with the right system and coaching, Alexander-Arnold could improve defensively and give Arsenal an 'extra dimension', saying: 'If someone worked with Trent along those lines, coached him to get in the right position at the right times, then I'm sure he could improve in that position to give Arsenal that extra dimension that he brings to a team.'

Alexander-Arnold has 34 England caps but did not make Thomas Tuchel's World Cup squad, with Sheringham expressing his disappointment, adding: 'England need something a bit different in certain games and he definitely gives you something different, without a doubt.'

Sheringham also praised Alexander-Arnold's unique abilities, saying: 'You can criticise Trent Alexander-Arnold for his defending but that's his game, and he gives you something different from right-back. He's not Gary Neville. He's not some dependable type. He's the player who can come up with something, come at things from another angle.'

With a new manager, Jose Mourinho, set to take the reins at Real Madrid this summer, it remains to be seen how Alexander-Arnold fares, but Sheringham's comments suggest that a move to Arsenal could be a potential solution to the player's struggles.
