MILLS WARNS: House Chaos Will EXPLODE If Mace Is Ousted!

MILLS WARNS: House Chaos Will EXPLODE If Mace Is Ousted!

A fierce battle is brewing on Capitol Hill as Representative Cory Mills vehemently defends himself against calls for his expulsion. The Florida Republican is facing accusations of domestic abuse and misconduct, igniting a political firestorm spearheaded by Representative Nancy Mace of South Carolina.

Mills dismissed Mace’s push for his removal as a blatant “political stunt,” accusing her of overstepping her bounds. He sharply criticized her attempt to act as “judge, juror and executioner” before any formal conclusions have been reached.

The controversy stems from a House Ethics Committee probe into allegations of predatory behavior towards former romantic partners. While Mills adamantly denies any wrongdoing and has not been criminally charged, the accusations have cast a long shadow over his time in office.

Mills swiftly turned the tables on Mace, pointing out that she herself is currently under ethics review. He argued that if expulsion is the consequence for simply being under investigation, she should face the same scrutiny over claims of improperly using taxpayer funds for personal gain – specifically, renting her own home to herself through Airbnb.

Specific allegations against Mills include an incident of alleged domestic abuse in February 2025 and a separate claim of blackmail from July of the same year, involving threats to release private images. These accusations have surfaced amidst a growing wave of scrutiny surrounding the conduct of lawmakers.

The timing is particularly sensitive, following the recent resignations of Representatives Eric Swalwell and Tony Gonzales, both embroiled in separate misconduct scandals. Swalwell stepped down amid accusations of sexual abuse, while Gonzales faced public outrage over a relationship with a staffer who tragically died by suicide.

Crucially, Mills emphasizes a key distinction between his situation and those of his former colleagues: he is not currently the subject of any criminal or civil investigation. He maintains his innocence and believes the accusations are politically motivated.

Mace, however, paints a starkly different picture, asserting that the “evidence against Mills is overwhelming.” She directly accused him of abuse and fraud, stating that any member who votes to protect him is complicit in protecting a “woman beater.”

Mills fears Mace’s resolution sets a dangerous precedent for removing sitting members of Congress, arguing it lowers the bar for expulsion to a dangerously low level. He suggests the motion is as much about fundraising and political posturing as it is about genuine concern for ethical conduct.

The resolution is expected to be brought to a vote later this week, promising a dramatic showdown that will test the boundaries of congressional ethics and the power of political maneuvering. The outcome could reshape the standards for accountability within the House of Representatives.
