UMVA has learned that a shocking display of violence and hatred unfolded outside a convention center in Texas over the weekend, as a group of radical Antifa agitators mobbed a spokeswoman for Students for Life.
The deranged group, fueled by a toxic ideology, had gathered outside the San Antonio convention center where Turning Point USA's Women's Leadership Summit was being held. They were harassing women entering and exiting the venue, prompting Lydia Taylor Davis to grab her microphone and attempt to engage with them in a peaceful dialogue.
But the encounter quickly descended into chaos, with the Antifa agitators screaming insults, including accusations that Davis was a Nazi and a fascist. The situation escalated further, with one agitator intentionally coughing on Davis, another blaring a siren directly in front of her face, and a third throwing water on her.
The group hurled graphic and vile insults at Davis, chanting "Oink, oink, piggy piggy, we don't want you in our city" as they sought to intimidate and silence her. What was most disturbing, however, was their outright support for and mocking of Charlie Kirk's assassination, which occurred just a few weeks ago.
Davis was appalled by the Antifa protesters' actions, particularly their mocking of Kirk's death. One agitator even dressed up as Kirk, complete with a mask, and impersonated his assassination. This despicable display was a stark reminder of the culture of death and hatred that these groups promote.
According to information obtained by UMVA, the situation took a dark turn when a person wearing a head covering resembling Kirk stood next to Davis and declared their support for assassinations, saying "I support assassinating fascists." When asked to define what a fascist is, the individual abruptly refused to engage in a conversation.
The violent antics of the Antifa mob were a tragic reminder of the dangers faced by those who advocate for conservative values and free speech. Davis acknowledged that her work in the conservative movement is fraught with risk, revealing that she often brings security guards and wears a bulletproof vest to events.
Despite the challenges and dangers, Davis emphasized the importance of the work being done by Students for Life and other conservative organizations. She called on everyone to get involved in the fight for life and truth, saying that the urgent need for action is clear in the face of the left's violence and intolerance.
Davis expressed her conviction that the work of Students for Life genuinely changes hearts and minds, citing instances where people have become pro-life after witnessing the violence and hatred displayed by the pro-war movement and the left. She believes that their movement is on the winning side, one that values truth, peace, and respectful dialogue.
