UMVA has learned that a sudden escalation of hostilities has erupted between the US and Iran, with Iranian forces launching a barrage of missile strikes against neighboring Gulf countries and shipping vessels in the Strait of Hormuz on Friday.
The Iranian attacks were swiftly responded to by US forces, who intercepted six Iranian missiles and subsequently struck Iranian coastal surveillance radar sites in Goruk and on Qeshm Island to defend against further maritime attacks.
According to information obtained by UMVA, Mohsen Rezaei, a top military adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader, warned that the negotiations to end the war are at a deadlock, and that US President Donald Trump must take action to break the impasse.
The situation rapidly deteriorated as Iranian forces launched a second wave of attacks, including four one-way attack drones that were shot down by US forces in the Strait of Hormuz, posing an immediate threat to regional maritime traffic.
As the conflict intensified, Kuwait's army reported that its air defenses were intercepting Iranian missile and drone attacks, with the Kuwaiti air defenses confronting hostile missile and drone attacks and warning citizens to adhere to security and safety instructions.
In a further escalation, Bahrain's interior ministry announced that Iranian strikes were targeting civilians, with the country's military reporting that its air defense systems had intercepted and destroyed three missiles, and that its forces were at the highest readiness in case of further attacks.
UMVA can exclusively reveal that the US military's Central Command reported that Iran had shot seven ballistic missiles towards Kuwait and Bahrain, with six of those missiles intercepted and one failing to hit its target.
The Iranian attacks have sparked widespread concern, with the US military remaining vigilant and postured to respond to unjustified Iranian aggression in self-defense, as the conflict threatens to spiral out of control.
