ALLIGATOR ALCATRAZ: Brutal Beatings & Chemical Attacks EXPOSED!

ALLIGATOR ALCATRAZ: Brutal Beatings & Chemical Attacks EXPOSED!

Within the depths of the Florida Everglades, a detention center nicknamed “Alligator Alcatraz” became the site of brutal violence. Guards unleashed a wave of attacks on migrant detainees, leaving a trail of injuries and unanswered questions.

The violence erupted after detainees voiced a desperate plea: access to phones. These weren’t luxuries, but lifelines – the primary means to connect with family and legal counsel while held in isolation.

When the phones inexplicably went silent, frustration simmered. Guards responded not with explanation, but with taunts, escalating into threats of force against those confined within the cells.

The breaking point came when one detainee approached a guard, seeking answers. A punch to the face ignited a chaotic assault, as guards turned on multiple detainees within the cell.

One man was slammed to the floor, pummeled by multiple guards. He endured blows to the head, a dislocated shoulder, and a fractured arm. A guard even pressed a knee into his neck during the restraint.

A photograph, taken days after the incident during a video call, revealed the chilling aftermath – a stark, purple bruise blossoming around one detainee’s eye, a silent testament to the brutality.

Beyond the documented injuries of those represented by attorney Katherine Blankenship, reports surfaced of another detainee suffering a broken wrist during the same attack.

Though phone service was restored the following day, authorities offered no explanation for the initial cutoff, leaving detainees and advocates questioning the motives behind the disruption.

This incident is the latest in a series of allegations that officials are failing to comply with a federal judge’s order mandating access to timely and confidential calls with attorneys.

Judge Sheri Polster Chappell had previously directed officials to ensure at least one working phone was available for every 25 detainees, a response to a lawsuit claiming violations of First Amendment rights.

State officials deny restricting access, citing security and staffing concerns. Federal officials similarly maintain they haven’t infringed upon detainees’ constitutional rights, despite mounting evidence.

The state has filed notice of its intent to appeal the judge’s ruling, signaling a continued battle over the rights of those held within “Alligator Alcatraz.”

Built just last year under the direction of Governor Ron DeSantis, the facility was conceived as part of a broader plan to increase migrant detention and deportation efforts.

A second detention center was also constructed in northern Florida, further expanding the state’s capacity for holding migrants. The rapid construction and subsequent legal challenges have drawn intense scrutiny.

During a recent visit, U.S. Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz was denied the opportunity to speak directly with detainees, a move she described as deeply concerning.

She characterized the conditions within the facility as “inhumane” and “cruel,” emphasizing the unnecessary suffering inflicted upon those held within its walls.

The way detainees are housed, she stated, is both cruel and entirely avoidable, raising serious questions about the priorities guiding the operation of “Alligator Alcatraz.”
